This Locomotive (more of a Rolling Chassis & body) has recentlly been purchased by Saltburn Miniature Railway.

As the Photographs show it is in need of a lot of work, to restore it into operational condition. The Locomotive, was originally built in the early to mid 1970s. It is based as a scale replica of 'Flying Sctosman'. It was not built as a Steam Loco. Motive power is provided by (or will be) a 'Diesel Engine', powering Hydraulic Transmission. Or in other words 'Diesel - Hydraulic'.

Hopefully during the Summer of 2008, (if not before), when the Loco is ready. It's purpose will be to ease the load on the now 'ageing' Locomotive 'Prince Charles', (being somewhere around 55 years old). Sharing the workload reguarlly.
