'Vishiwala' is a term used for the Asian Cooks. Eg. There was the Hindu Vishiwala and Muslim Vishiwala.
They are in charge of their area and for providing food to the respective religious shipmates and ensuring there is no cross contamination from the various religious preparation areas.
