User-friendly extended family garden with vegetable plots, flower beds, large lawns, colourful pond and other interesting features.

Marilyn Farr, 85 Upper Road.

Plantswoman’s garden packed with interesting flowers & shrubs. Large organic fruit & vegetable garden; pond; conservatory; grassy area under fruit trees. All developed since 2004.

A small, simple garden with a staged development of cottage garden style borders. The underlying intention is low maintenance.

A garden of character. Three ponds, greenhouse, water features.

Front garden with shrubs and large herbaceous beds. Small enclosed courtyard. Well-stocked vegetable garden with raised beds (and almost organic!).

A moderately large garden with many shrubs and trees that form different areas surrounding the house. These are emphasised by variously planted flower beds.

A garden of mixed interest, twists and turns. Ponds and fish, hopefully lots of colour. A varied vegetable plot and no doubt a few weeds.

Evergreen shrubs, trees, perennials on multiple levels with lawns, paths, pond, patios, raised beds. Well-stocked garden.

Established by Mrs Spray’s husband from scratch when the house was built in 1955. Flowers, lawns, vegetables, fruit trees and bushes. Greenhouse with figs and tomatoes.

Family friendly garden surrounded by woodland trees, currently under redesign.
