Barbra Streisand Moroder's dream of producing Barbra Streisand was to come true one year later when he collaborated with her on 'No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)', an epic duet between Streisand and Donna Summer.
This eleven minute track was the centrepiece of a Donna Summer hits compilation which ingeniously managed to segue together many of her previous 7" singles with newly-recorded links. 'On The Radio', another new track, also made its debut. Written by Moroder and Summer primarily for the film soundtrack of 'Foxes' it also proved an apt title track for Summers's greatest hits, and became a major hit in its own right. An alternatively
(and shorter) mix of 'No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)' appears on Streisand's
1979 'Wet' album. |
