Mike Aubrey 2nd Dan Began training with KBI in 1996 with Sensei Mike Tan and Sensei Andrew Clarke whilst studying Media Technology and the University of Glamorgan. Whilst studying and training at Glamorgan, Mike represented the university on two separate occasions at the annual British University Championships and wasa part of the successful squad who in 1999 achieved the ranking of joint 2nd university in Great Britain. He has since returned to the University Club as assistant instructor to Sensei Mike Tan.
In 2003 Mike was part of the successful KBI Mens team who
won Gold and Bronze Medals at the Bushi Kai Championship in Port Talbot.
Mike achieved his Shodan Ho (1st Dan provisional) in November 2001 and has since gone on to obtain his Nidan (2nd Dan Confirmed) in November 2005.
