In this part I shall look at the changes that have taken place in various editions etc.
Starting with AFP. Here are a few photographs of Volume 3, they show how things change very slightly, the impression page then adverts and even photographs of the planes some times change. Note both volumes are first impressions
Here we can see an image from a volume 1, that shows how some early versions had what's often called thick line drawings.
Here we can see an image from volume 1 impression3 and impression 5. The photograph has changed, in fact many of the photographs did change as time moved on.
An other image here shows a small detail of an advert that has a small change, again Volume 1 impression 3 and impression 5.
Here we can see an image of volume 5, every page is the same apart from one advert. They seem to have changed the ink for another colour!
Note, both books this time are the same impression.
Many times in AFP I have noted the index saying that the Henschel Hs123 can be found in volume 1, but I have yet to find a copy of volume one with that plane inside!
