Pot Noodle (Unilever): Received 28th February 2006 (unileverukfoods@UnileverConsumerLink.co.uk)

Thank you for your email regarding Pot Noodle.

All of the range is suitable for vegetarians, however due to the presence of milk and egg in the ingredients the range is not suitable for vegans.

The exception is the Sweet and Sour flavour which does not contain milk or egg products, however we cannot guaranty that there will not be a cross contamination of ingredients in the factory.

I hope this information is of assistance.

Kind regards

Sainsburys: Received 7th April 2006 (customerservice@sainsburys.co.uk)

Thank you for your email. It is encouraging to hear that you are making use of the recipes on our special diets page.

We have a number of food guides available. However, due to low demand, we no longer produce a vegan guide.

Although the vegan guide is no longer available, we are constantly reviewing the recipe ideas and tips on our website. I hope that you will find them useful.

Thank you once again for taking the time to contact us. I am very sorry that I am unable to provide you will a full list of foods suitable for vegans. I do hope that you can understand why the guide is no longer available.

Kind regards
