The Congress will be hosted by the organisers of the Peterborough International Orchid Show and the East Midlands Orchid Society.

It will be held at the East of England Showground, Peterborough along with the International Orchid Show and within the East of England  Show.

The Show and the Showground are operated by the East of England Agricultural Society who will provide all the facilities required for the Congress.

The associated hotel is the Peterborough Marriott Hotel,

A number of rooms have been reserved and the prices are £60 per night for single and £79 per night for double – including breakfast. Booking can commence in July and those wishing to stay there should book directly with the hotel  but please check for the booking reference first – this will be available by then.  There is ample alternative accommodation in the area as visitors to the International Orchid Show will know and numerous examples can be found on this website.

The Show will be open to the public, for sales only, from 9.00 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. on Friday 18th June and the whole show from 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. on Saturday 19th and 9.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. on Sunday 20th June.

Setting up may begin from 9.30 a.m. on Thursday 17th June and between  9.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. on Friday 18th  June.  B.O.C. judging will take place between 07.00 a.m.. and 9.45a.m. on Saturday. There will be a  Preview Evening and Buffet at 7.00. p.m. on Friday,18th June. The Buffet will be served in the PIOS Hospitality Marquee adjacent to the Show marquee.

The R.H.S. Orchid Committee will meet at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 19th June.

The Congress Dinner will be held in the Marriott Hotel at 7.00 p.m. for 7.30 p.m. on Saturday 19th June.
