Applications for an Import Permit in to the UK from countries outside of European Union must be made to DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) using the form FED 0172

The  FED 0172 Form needed can be found at www.ukcites.gov.uk/license/default.htm along with a completion guide.  This form should be accompanied by a CITES export permit from the exporting country, the fee payable (£7.00 per genus at the moment), a covering letter and an inventory of the orchids showing the species composition of any hybrids will be appreciated.
