Subscription Rates 2009/10

SUBSCRIPTION CATEGORIES

1.   Members over the age of 65 when payment of subscription is due PROVIDED that  they have been playing members for at least 10 consecutive years.

2. Country members with no place of residence within 50 miles of the Clubhouse and are also FULL members of a recognised Golf Club. International members with no place of residence in the UK who provide evidence of FULL membership of a recognised Golf Club outside the UK.

3. These fees include VAT. (currently 15%).

4. The Entrance fee is payable for all adult categories of playing members elected to the club. Either by a one off payment or by standing order over 24 months. No entrance fee is payable on joining the club as a non-playing/social  member. A playing member who becomes a non-playing/social  member will not be required to pay a further entrance fee on becoming a playing member again, provided during the intervening period non playing/social membership is maintained.

5. 5 Day members may play on weekend days on payment of the standard Guest Green Fee rate, but not join in the Club competitions other than the President's, Captain's and Professionals' days.

6. The In-Absentia Membership category was withdrawn in May 2006, but with reserved rights to return to future playing membership without incurring a further entrance fee for those already approved.

Members wishing to park their own buggy at the course must obtain the prior           approval of the manager and will be subject to condition.

Council have decided not to require payment of the £25 bar levy with subscription payment this year. Top up bar payments can thus be made at anytime.

Council are reviewing the arrangement for membership of the '100' club and hope to be able to inform members of the revised arrangements shortly.

Settlement of Annual accounts

Fees may be paid by installments. Members must complete a new standing order form for each year that they choose this method of payment. Arrangements to pay by installments must be made before April 30 each year.

A 10% administration fee is applied to all accounts using this method of payment.

Payment due dates Payment (or arrangement to pay by installments) must be made by April 30 each year. Members failing to do so will be liable to a 10% surcharge.

NOTES  - SUBSCRIPTION  PAYMENTS ETC.

1. Subscriptions shall become due and payable on the first day of April in each year. The fees may be paid in full or by installments.

Members may elect to pay their Subscriptions by Standing Order as follows:-

By ELEVEN equal monthly payments before end March 2010.

Members should note that in the event of any monthly payment not being made on the due date the Club has the right to cancel any such arrangement, playing rights may e suspended and the total amount, including surcharge, becomes payable immediately.

3. Payment Due Dates.

All payments (or arrangements to pay by installments) must be made by 30th April each year. Members failing to pay or make arrangements to settle their account will be liable to 10% surcharge. Members who have not paid (or made arrangements to pay by installments) by 15th May will be listed on the notice board and have playing rights suspended.

Members failing to pay or make arrangements to settle their account including any surcharge will be considered to have surrendered their membership. Anyone who is reinstated will be required to make payment in full of all arrears, will be subject to waiting list requirements and will be expected to settle future bills in full and on time. Anyone not reinstated will be liable for the full debt outstanding.
