Handicap Verification

1. Allotment of Handicaps

To obtain a handicap, Members must submit not less than 3 cards each over 18 holes.

2. Alteration of Handicap

Brief summary below (for details see CONGU handicapping rules).

3. Suspension, Lapsing and Loss of Handicaps

Whilst a players handicap is suspended, lapsed or has been lost, he shall not enter or compete in any official competition held by the club.

4. Retention of Handicap

The Handicap of any member who, in whatever Category, fails to return at least 3 Qualifying Scores by the end of September 2003 or in any future year shall lapse.

Such members will not be eligible to enter or compete in any Club Competition from 1st October.

Competition Rules

Monthly Medal/Stableford - 18 Holes Medal or Stableford off Full handicap allowance - Open to all Members and Juniors (handicap 18 or under). Division 1 (handicap 14 and under); Division 2 (handicap 15 and above). Best 10 net scores accrue points for the Trevor Cup.

Midweek Medal/Stableford - 18 Holes Medal or Stableford off Full handicap allowance - Primarily intended for the benefit of 5day members, but 7day Members and Juniors (handicap 18 or under) may also participate. Best 10 net scores accrue points for the Saunders Cup.

Channel Challenge Cup - 18 holes strokeplay. Played off full handicap allowance. Open to 7day Members and Juniors (handicap 18 or under). Handicap limit 10-18 inclusive.

Winter League

Format: Fourball BetterBall Stableford

Tees - Yellow

Handicap - 3/4 allowance/Maximum 18

A single player will be allowed to play off full handicap to a max. of 18.
