Charlie Wilson our Plus 1 Handicap Golfer smashed the long standing course record with a gross 62 in a mid-week Stableford on 28th October 2009. His round included 1 bogie, 8 pars 8 birdies and an eagle. The previous record of 65 gross was held for 21 years and 3 months (17th July 1988) by Jack Hamilton and although Russell Thwaites and Charlie Wilson himself had equaled it, they were never able to beat it until now.
