When Sonic and the gang are on vacation and the local 'wildlife' suddenly turns nasty, who'll save the day?
Sonic, always looking for an excuse to keep away from Amy (and her advances), decides to take an 'extended' vacation with Tails and Knuckles. Robotnik notices the absense of Sonic and co. and sees that this is the perfect time to set his latest plan into motion - mutating various lesser animals to do his own bidding.
However...he forgot to account for one tiny detail. Amy notices the sudden change in the animals in a close encounter and sees an opportunity to prove herself. She decides to resolve the situation on her own in a somewhat narrow-minded way - by taking a mallet to anything that moves =P. Look out Robotnik - here comes a one girl army...
Playing as Amy, your 'mission' is to fight your way through waves of enemies any way you can. In each stage, Your targets are the 'leaders', but be warned - they can be very dangerous if you don't break their morale first.
Amy may only be armed with her fists and her hammer, but she knows how to kick ass ;). Basic combination attacks allow her to knock enemies away, launch them and even follow them up for some mid-air action. In addition, Amy learns several special moves throughout the game that can be used to extend her combos and take down tougher foes. To top it off, when Amy's fury builds up she can also bust out a 'fury' attack that's guaranteed to knock enemies for six!
Let's not forget the sticks of dynamite, either...
There are four stages in the game - each one is split up into two parts. At the end of a stage, there is either a minigame or a boss to contend with.
Additional features include:
• A daft story - to be taken with a pinch of salt. You can control the conversation speed in cutscenes or skip them altogether, too.
• Two difficulty settings, which also determine the game's ending.
• Autosave and load system.
As usual, I highly reccommend that you read the help file before playing the game. It explains how to change the default controls (they're set up different from usual, spread across two players), as well as the game mechanics, saving/loading and a few other useful tips.
