MUSIC

I have worked regularly as a composer and musical director; most recently I wrote Tony Blair - the Musical, which was a total sell-out at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe. Other theatrical productions I have written and directed music for include Lost (Humble Theatre Company, March 2005), With Blacks (performed as part of the Alight Here exhibition in London, March 2003), and the Pembroke Players' production of Oedipus (February 2002). I have also directed the music for Richard Taylor's Whistle Down the Wind (Cameo Theatre Company, November 2005).

I have written scores for two short films The Ghost of Kirkton Fell (Hired Thugs Productions, 2004) and Summer's End (Hired Thugs Productions, 2005).

I studied music at Cambridge University and was taught composition by Robin Holloway. Other works of mine have been commissioned and performed by English Voices, Girton College Choir, the Cambridge New Music Society and for a special recital by the internationally renowned organist Guy Bovet. Most recently I had a work commissioned by the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, which was performed in November by the Chiesa Consort at St Andrew's, Holborn.
