A list of websites which I think you should visit immediately either because I happen to visit them regularly myself or because I am in some way associated with them. Also because I know that if you're browsing my website there's a good chance you're actually just looking to waste time by surfing the net, and I'm kind enough to give you some pointers.

Other sites with photographs of me

Tony Blair - the Musical - the official website of the award-winning musical.

Deon Vonniget - the official website of the show. "Very funny" and "fantastically skewed" according to the New York Times, and who am I to argue?

The Uncertainty Division - an improvisation group which I co-founded at university. Who'd have thought it would still be going strong now having notched up eight whole shows?

Cambridgeshire Churches Media Trust - you can have lots of fun looking for photos of me on this one - not so much a result of all my being behind all Cambridgeshire media as of the fact that I designed their website.

The Friday Project - okay, you won't find so many pictures of me here (though there is at least one) but they are publishing a book I've written and I've made many a contribution to their sharp satirical website The Friday Thing, so it must be worth a look.

Casting Call Pro - online directory of professional actors, presenters, agents and casting professionals with 15,000+ industry professionals on their system and listings of the latest acting jobs, auditions and casting calls. So, a useful port of call.

Other actors' sites

Rosanne Priest - I ended up stuck in a malfunctioning car with Rosanne. It's an experience that will live with me forever. She also does acting and is very beautiful.

Chris Yapp - an actor I have had many a pleasant drink with, who has sung some of my songs and has all sorts of exciting ideas for musicals.

Marianne Levy - always worth checking out Marianne's site, partly because her weblog is full of entertaining thoughts, but also to see how famous she's become in the last week.

Tom Bell - Tom is promising us a new look website coming soon. I wonder if he'll put a link to my website on this one.

John Finnemore - back in my Footlights days John was a sort of Grandfather figure to me. Now he's gone and reinforced that image with a beard. You can see pictures of it here.

David Bowie - actually, David is not exclusively an actor - he's now embarked on a pretty impressive musical career, so watch out for his albums in the shops. Even so, I think we'll probably mostly remember him for his brilliant portrayal of the Goblin King in Labyrinth.

Other interesting or unusual people

Alastair Bennett - Alastair's blog is entertaining and depressing in equal measure, so a pretty good representation of real life.

Judith Lark - my sister; gives you a pretty good idea of what I'd look like if I was seven years younger and a girl.

Jon Lee - an organist and a lover of fine wines whose wisdom is now regularly going online, which is all to the good.

Jason Fout - always useful to know where you can read the immediate bloggings of a Priest, even if much of it is of a culinary nature.

James Casey - James shares my name and many of my interests and I've even met him a few times.

Tony Miles - musings of a media chaplain; an inviting mix of comment, news, reflection and prayer.

Oliver Postgate - the very same man who made Bagpuss, The Clangers and Ivor the Engine; not only did he therefore shape the way I grew up, but he has a view of the real world that makes a lot of sense. To me, at any rate.

Jane Espenson - a writer who has interesting meals and useful advice for other writers.
