Ireland
Occasionally I have found references to individuals said to be of Ireland usually on Census returns and usually female. In general, I have found little or no links.
There is an early reference which may or may not refer to a family member:

He married Mary Isabella Houston and in 1843 by Royal License changed his name to Blakiston-Houston. He and his family had strong ties to Ireland, to Orangefields & Roddens Co. Down.
