I have lived in the UK since leaving California as a young boy and now consider Yorkshire my home. (Although I'll never be a Yorkshire Man!)
After living for a time in Belfast, Northern Ireland and later Hastings in East Sussex, I moved to Hertfordshire where I studied at Hatfield Polytechnic for an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering.
On graduation I worked for a number of companies, but never really liked the work. I re-trained in 1985 as a Mathematics teacher, a decision I have never regretted.
I have recently been promoted to the post of Acting Deputy Teacher at Honley High School and College. Only 4 miles from home, and a very good school.
One of my hopes in producing this website is that someone reading it might have information that will help me to locate my father.He and my mother divorced in the early sixties, at which time I was brought to live in the UK. Since then all contact has been lost.
