Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP)
Now that we have signed a declaration of intent we are moving towards an LEP. The next step is to see if we can agree on Joint Governance.
If the LEP is created one possible consequence is that one of the current worship centres will close. This will be a painful decision for us to make. We pray for God's guidance to see what is right and courage to make the right decisions. This is early days but we all want to proceed with as much speed as possible. Parish Partnership
Luton Deanery have come up with a plan! They have grouped the parishes in Luton into 'clusters' of four with a view that each 'cluster' should get to know each other better and to see if there is scope for collaborative working. Our 'cluster' places us with St Andrews Woodside, All Saints Caddington and St Hughes Leagrave. We have had a number of interesting and fruitful meetings and we see a number of ways that we can work together. Watch this Space!!
