KDARS have been Lynched yet again!!.
Today, Steve, Lorna, Chris and Frank trotted down to Chertsey to purchase the society's new radios. Having been told that the radio we were considering was not as good as we had hoped, we settled for a Yaesu FT450SAT. To compliment this we also purchased a data interface for it and got a Kenwood TM-V71E 2/70cm radio too. As always, Martin and Chris made us most welcome.
Frank, deciding he was not going to be left out of 'new toy buying' bought a Yaesu FT897.
