NDP Tumbling
Tumbling competitions are graded according to the National Development Programme.  There a two major divisions - Regional and National, with 4 competing levels within each division.  Gymnasts begin at Regional Level 1 and work their way up to National Level 4.  At each level, 3 separate tumbling runs have to be completed as described below.  National Level competitions are split into age groups, usually as indicated below, though additional groups may be introduced at the discretion of the organisers.

Pre-NDP competitions are also run - these are intended primarily for more junior tumblers, but overlap to just below regional level 3 in difficulty.
