| | Many thanks to everyone who came along to help and to participate in the 2007 East Midlands Trampoline Championships today. The new venue (Braunstone Leisure Centre) proved to be a popular choice. NightFlyers sent a small team along to the event, but we didn't come away empty-handed. Niki got a 2nd place in the girls over 19, and both Cameron and Charlotte picked up 3rd place trophies in the U11 and U13 categories. Victoria put in a solid pair of routines in the strongly contested U11 group and did well to finish half way up the rankings. Lucy had a bit of a mishap on her set (full twist to feet chuck!) but then redeemed herself with a very tidy vol. Meanwhile, our 'little squirts' did a brilliant job landing the 2nd place team medal for the under 9s - despite Hollie's unplanned 1½ twist in her set! Well done to everyone. | |
