two railway stations. Colchester North is
on the main line to London Liverpool
Street and is the closest of the two
stations to Colchester General Hospital.
Fast express train services are available
direct to London (journey time 50 mins)
and also to Harwich and Ipswich from
Colchester North.Colchester Town (formerly St
Botolph's) is close to the town centre
but has fewer services running to it.
