In January 1950 the South West London D.A. proposed compiling a list of catering houses suitable for club runs and West Surrey's suggestions were contributed.  The D.A. also favoured a headquarters proposal to issue standard certificates for Test Rides.

There was a meeting at Gerald Green's home at Norbiton regarding altering D.A. boundaries to include Surbiton and Capel areas and to relinquish to East Surrey D.A. the remaining portions of the urban districts of Dorking and Leatherhead.

For birthday celebrations in April, Kingston and Woking had a combined run from Cobham, with lunch and tea at Ockley, to meet the new Southern Section and 35 attended.  Kingston had night rides to Bodiham and Cirencester while Woking had a night ride to Dunmow and a breakfast ride to Bourton-on-the-Water.  Woking had also started an intermediate section and organised the "100" from Cobham to Odiham, West Meon and Petworth.  Later there were 45 for tea at Shamley Green followed by a special meeting to approve the new boundaries.

Kingston paid a visit to the Ordnance Survey premises at Chessington and were at Edenbridge for bon-fire night.  Don Field married;  was elected as vice-president to the Charlotteville;  and he also won the Benstead Cup, Keith Beaumont running second.  Woking's attendances were then averaging 30.
