And so the pattern continued through to 1927 with the first dance at Horsell proving a success and the Club's headquarters being transferred from Euston Road, to Craven Hill, Paddington.

The two Bills again toured in France, this time in Normandy and Brittany reaching as far south as Nantes.  The Howell brothers, "Bunny" and Ken, came into the picture and there was an unforgettable occasion in their early days.  It was a wet day and the Club run was through Shillinglee Park when they came to a sharp descent.  The leaders braked and Ken, near the back, had to snatch on his brakes rather hurriedly to avoid running into them.  Unfortunately this happened at a spot where some very incontinent cows had recently crossed and Ken crashed, sprawling into a sticky, wet mire.  Efforts were made to clean him up but he was very smelly and, when 5 o'clock arrived, he was not exactly the most popular customer at the tea place.

Stan. Underwood came out with Charlotteville's captain Sid. Brown and, although fully committed to the 'Ville, they continued to lend their support and, in January 1927, the 'Ville and the local C.T.C. Section jointly ran a successful supper and social at Woking Girl Guides Hut in Oriental Road, with a dance band in attendance.
