the Duke of Sutherland's estate;
(Polly's eldest son, Charles William, was named after him.)

Sisters: Julia and Kit
Julia married Bob Bullock and they lived at Rugby, where he worked in stables where polo ponies were bred. They had four sons: Bob, Aleck, Cecil and Harold, and went to seek their fortune in America. Julia and the boys returned but Bob stayed, and did indeed make a fortune out of property and breeding polo ponies. Later, the boys went back to America and were educated at Yale.
