Partners can often feel ‘left out’. Learning to give massage provides the birth partner confidence in ability to help the mother during labour, providing a positive role to play. Giving massage can be fulfilling and can greatly enhance your relationship and helps the mother by:-

bullet Aiding relaxation
bullet Easing muscular tension
bullet Lowering blood pressure
bullet Helping the mother to focus her breathing
bullet Providing a safe non-invasive form of pain relief.
