This page provides some answers to frequent questions about Aromatherapy & massage in general.

"Are you able to accept payment by debit or credit card?"

Unfortunately no, I do not have electronic payment facilities but payment can be made by cash or cheque.

"What do you need to know before I come for my massage?"

There are some basic questions that I always ask when taking a booking (and confirm them at the start of the appointment). These ensure that I have details of any current medical condition, medication or allergies. In some situations you may need to contact a doctor / consultant or midwife first.

"I have some allergies, does this effect my treatment?"

Allergies can be helped by aromatherapy & massage but careful consideration needs to be taken. A 'patch test' may be required during a consultation before an appointment can be made for massage.

"Do you make home visits?"

I only make home visits to people who truly cannot come to me - (for example those with life-limiting illness).

"My baby has colic & I have been told that massage would help, can you massage him?"

Massage is very good for babies, but they have to get used to it gently and it is best given by parents. I can offer instruction for you to learn how to massage your own baby - see the link to the left. Due to work I have done in this area, I have been checked by the CRB.

"Do you give talks and presentations?"

Yes, please contact me to discuss your requirements

"I want to know how to use aromatherapy oils but do not want any massage, can you help?"

I can offer a consultation appointment, check details of your health, likes & dislikes & offer suggestions. I can also supply oils
