Creating a stage production involves many talents
and vocations. Apart from the obvious talent of acting there are
many other jobs in the theatre world. These jobs can be divided
into stage, backstage and front
of house duties. There is also work to be done in the administration
of the society
Stage and backstage is at the heart of any production
with a close knit interaction between director, actors, stage manager,
wardrobe, properties, lighting and sound.
Equally important are the Front-of-House staff who
welcome everyone with programmes and coffee tickets, guide you to
your seats, man the box office and provide catering facilities.
If you want to chat to someone and find out more about us, please

Membership of the society costs £12.00
for adults (18 and over) or £6 for Junior
membership over 16. All members receive a regular bulletin and have
full opportunities to vote and join in the societies activities.
Or you can become a patron and receive early notification of the
forthcoming production. If you belong to a group and would like
very early notification to prepare a block booking, we have a special
mailing list for this.
