Oxdirect is very proud to announce the release of Planner 4. The new version gives enhanced functionality. It’s now menu driven and much easier to use. The Teacher's Paperless Planner is available either on a 40 day trial basis (bottom right of page) or fully activated at 1.95 (GBP/ UKP). Alternatively, you can donate more or less money depnding on what you think is fair. The 1.95 GBP price represents a massive reduction in price. It is hoped to make the planner accessible to colleagues in developing countries. The Planner should revolutionise the way you do lesson planning and save you hours and hours from routine admin time.
The teachers paperless lesson planner available from Oxdirect can completely replace the traditional paper based teachers planners. You can copy and paste in shared lesson plans, or lesson plans taken from the Internet or Government documents. The Query function means that you can produce records of what has been taught to each of your classes for use in future planning, Quality Assurance, or sharing with colleagues.
I and a number of other teaching colleagues at my school have used this paperless planner which I wrote over the last four years + with no problems. This fourth rewrite is a significant improvement on the version we used and is working well. (The underlying database has been working without problems since September 2003.)
Teachers Paperless lesson Planner Features:
- One-time inputting of your time-table. Provision for one or two week time-table. Select the appropriate time table day and hit “update”. After running the query, your time-table is then automatically uploaded for the day. You can set up as many days for update at a time as you like.
- Five period day with two registration slots.
- Built in Query for producing records of lessons taught to individual classes including Registration Classes.
- Room for up to 10 years lessons (from inception).
- One-time inputting of regular annual events such as anniversaries, birthdays, etc..
- Calendar import/ update facility. (Moderately difficult.)
- Easy Backup and import of lesson planning database.
- Re-import of queried and re-ordered/ edited lessons.
