Sunday 8th August. Bridge of Allan Highland Games.

Williamwood Pipe Band continued with their preparation for next weeks World Championships at Bridge of Allan Highland games. The draw meant that both the grade 3 and grade 4 bands were on at about the same time. The grade four band put out a fairly pleasing performance in a strong field 23 bands, many of which were from grade 4A. The grade 3 band were again pleased with their performance and hoped to gain a place on the prizelist! Although at the marchpast the grade four band was not on the prizelist, The grade 3 band was placed second ahead of many strong and experienced grade 3 bands! This boosted our confidence before next weeks world Championships at Glasgow Green.
