SOS Fundraising

The aim of SOS is to raise money in one season which will be invested in the ongoing development of Oxford Speedway during the following season. The following is the investments made by SOS in support of Oxford Speedway

2007

Payment towards the cost of the Kevlars for the 2007 squad.

Discussion are ongoing with new owner Allen Trump to decide how he wishes us to support him

2006

Funds were again direct towards completing the payment schedule for the grader

2005

All SOS funds directed to the £6000 purchase of a Road Blade to aid track preparation. This was paid over a 2 year period and represented a massive investment for SOS

2004

Payment towards the replacement of the Safety Fence at Oxford to accommodate the air fence

Funds raised each week to aid ongoing costs

2003

Sponsorship of the Bike Covers for all the riders in the 'Silver Machine'

Installation of complete new safety fence at Oxford Stadium

Help towards running costs of Pre season Social Event

2002

Sponsorship of a Heat on Race Night

Payment for Promotional Brochures

Sponsorship of James Purchase for the season

Sponsorship of a Heat at Brian Andersen Testimonial

Sponsorship of Easter Eggs for Good Friday Meeting

Payment of Children's Entertainer for each meeting

Purchase of equipment to support Community Scheme (TV/Video, Display Boards)
