The sponsored walk has been completed with a significant amount of money being raised to fund machinery investments by Lawrence. A special thanks should be given to Newport Speedway for their promotion of this event.

The Lawrence Hare Support Team is a fan club run on Lawrence's behalf by Chris Townsend. The team was set up with two main aims: firstly keep all of Lawrence's supporters up to date with Lawrence's progress throughout the season, and secondly, to help him out in any way possible. That could be by sponsorship, fund raising, or simply by demonstarting encouragement with vociferous support from the terraces. It's really hard for riders these days, especially with the esclating costs of Elite League racing and dwindling wages, so it is important for all supporters to show their support in any way they can.
