Goodrich Engine Control Systems
A multidisciplinary team of engineers was formed to work on an aircraft engine technology demonstrator project. Working to a specification prepared by Goodrich, SDQS designed a controller for a special DC brushless motor. The controller had to meet many stringent criteria including an extended temperature range, torque and speed profiles and fit in a very confined space.

Grant Instruments (Cambridge) Ltd
SDQS has worked with Grant Instruments in the development of new products from specification through design and CE approval to handover for manufacture.

Laurie Mullaney Associates Ltd
LMAL had an idea for a measurement instrument and had built a proof of principle demonstration. LMAL approached SDQS to develop the electronics and software for the instrument and during initial consultations SDQS suggested improvements to the measurement procedure that resulted in a simplified electronics requirement hence reduced the cost of manufacture without compromising measurement accuracy.

Measurement and Control Services Ltd
SDQS has supported MCS for many years in the design and manufacture of special products. One product in particular has been in manufactured by SDQS for many years. Internally this product has changed as components have become obsolete and new CE regulations have been applied but the operation of the equipment has remained consistent.

Germinate Ltd
Germinate has developed a series of methods for characterising and correcting printing presses. SDQS has formalised some of these methods and written a simple to use PC application.
