Progress so far....

I've been mainly cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning!

This shot shows the rear suspension assembly. Underneath all the muck, the condition is very good. The wires hanging down and touching the floor pan used to go to the alternator drive at the back of the gearbox.  

The back end is starting to get cleaner!

I also spent some time cleaning the inside - straightened out the dash and took the black vinyl off. Used thinners to remove the old glue. Came up quite nicely!

The door cleaned up quite well too! The triangular plate on the door even has a Lotus 47 part number stamped on it!

I found this hole under the carpet - it had a panel screwed over it. It is where the battery used to go. You can just see the earth strap poking out from under the seat.

First time the two girls meet each other - we have Kylie on the right, and Zar Zar on the left!
