23 April - I'm on a bit of  a roll!

Finally got the whole hub apart - everything was seized to everything!

As you can see, the 'innards' of the hub are very rusty - that caused everything to seize solid! It took another 20 minutes to get that bearing off, then another 20 minutes to get the other bearing out of the hub carrier!

Next up was the removal of the small fuel collector tank. This is fed via the twin long range fuel tanks.

This is the tank as extracted. Note it was plastic coated!

The plastic just fell off!  Ever seen these before  - they are one -way check valves - they stop the fuel from exiting the tank when cornering hard.

Close up shot - the perforated tube contains a ball - the bent over tab just holds the ball in. These valves stopped working years ago - they are totally gummed up! Note the hole for lock wiring the valve on.

Below is the 'hole' in the back of the car now!

Just need to remove the shift linkage mechanism and the loom now.
