Progress for 19 April........

These shots were taken when I took the pedal box assembly out of the car - a couple of weeks ago.

This is after some major cleaning! I've not had to replace any parts - despire being very gummed up, the cylinders are in very good shape and only need new seals. I might get some new caps to smarten then up a bit!

I've also made myself a 'dolly' to roll the car around on - it works very well thought it would help if that bolt wasn't sticking up like that! (I think I'll adopt Ian's design for that!)

I've been fighting with the rear hubs for about 2 weeks now - they are gradually coming apart though pretty much EVERY part is seized! I made up this puller which worked very well on one hub, but no joy on the other one... watch this space!

Bought myself a fancy new tool chest! I was fed up with having all my sockets and spanners in a 'bucket' - it was taking me as long to actually 'find' my tools as it was to work on the car!

This is one of the tanks - it was a bit of a wrestle to get it out - it's a VERY tight fit! The two bolts holding it in were of course seized! I am gradually reducing the number of seized bolts yet to undo!
