Thought I'd stick a few more pictures on-line for my friends.....!

Decided to get the wheels blasted and powder coated - and some new tyres. Is this a critical job? NO. Does it motivate me? Yes! The that's OK then!
The Tyres are: Dunlop CR65's Rear 600/1200/R13 - front 475/1000/R13

Got the discs skimmed - saved me a fortune as they are 'specials'!

getting the engine bits together - got some 45's off e-bay - very good condition!

Decided to T-Cut (polish) the body - just out of curiosity - because the paint was badly oxidized and is 30 + years old.
It actually came up really well! It'll come off sooner or later (later), but it made me feel good! (still does!)

Hmm! The upper circle shows the split spot welded seam! The bottom shows the start of a crack - which gets MUCH bigger as it progresses along the chassis! New chassis time - though I'll keep the old one with the car for teh sake of originality (I'll put it in the glove compartment, no, even better, the ash tray!)

Lots of bits on the bench. Thanks to Don, the Previous Owner, who I have swapped many e-mails with, I have reduced the suspension thus far - jus the rear hub assemblies to crack next!
I did go and see Jim Morley by the way! Pictures to follow!
