Lotus 47 GT 25

Welcome to my new Lotus 47 Site.

This site is all about my 47GT, it's ongoing restoration, and about 47's in general.

At the moment I don't have to much time to create a fancy site, as most of my spare time I am working on the car itself (!), so for now this is little more than a 'dump' for pictures and progress as and when I get a chance.

So, for now, here is the progress so far:

- collection of car

- progress - 23 March

- progress - 10 April

- progress - 19 April

- progress - 23 April

- progress - 13 May - PHASE 1 IS OVER!

- progress - 28 October

And here is a few more pages that might be of interest:

- my Hewland MK4 gearbox (5 speed)

- Donnington 2003

- Kitchiner 47 - this is a 47 based special - contemporary 'clipping's'

Further down the line,  I plan for this site to become a point of reference for 47 owners and enthusiasts.

In the mean time, if you have any suggestions or questions, please e-mail me at:

This is the famous 'snorkel' works car. I think it is either chassis 2 or 3. It was re-bodied with chassis/body unit 47GT78 and still resides in the UK.
