Poole signed two
unknown riders from 'down under, Craig Boyce from Australia and Gary Allan
from New Zealand. They started reserves, together with three other new
faces for 1988.
This was David Biles' last season; he ended his career with a superlative
ride, which saw him dive under both Wimbledon riders on the last bend to
take the flag !
