Scuba diving &
snorkelling
Dimitri and Jade run Scuba Dream just outside
Ierapetra. They don't have a web-site yet but can arrange scuba and
snorkelling trips for groups of all abilities:
Use
local knowledge to get the most from your time. A guide
can show you the way and tell you about the local wildlife and
customs. Mini bus transfers can take you further afield
and enable a linear walk such as the gorges.
Organise something special with

Jeep Safari
Led by a local guide, take a jeep trip through the mountains visiting
the beautiful villages along the way - Pefki, Shinokapsala.
Visit uninhabited
Koufonisi, see the ancient ruins there and swim in the coves
to cool off. For a group of 10-20 or so, a boat can be
exclusively chartered for a special day out.
Stargazing
The
skies above crete are very clear and local
astronomer (Filip) has an observatory in the
nearby mountains where you can see the wonders
of the universe first hand - Saturn's rings,
star clusters, galaxies, ... By appointment

Art workshop
The beautiful colors of nature, the Mediterranean climate and the
picturesque villages are the inspirational backdrop for our art
workshops. The workshops offer opportunity to enjoy the scenery and
creatively frame your impressions of the surroundings. Idyllic pictures
sit waiting to be drawn.
Makrygialos hosts an
annual international classical music
festival. 2010 dates are 24-29 June.

3km
from Ierapetra is a GoKart track which caters for kids and adults and
opens at 10am. They don't have a web site but are contactable on
0030 6932905118 or 0030 6972 802330.
The dust makes it a
bit more slippery than your average UK track!
