Club captain Wayne is one of a number of the current squad members who joined Stafford Rangers in summer 2002 following the arrival of Phil Robinson. He has enjoyed very successful seasons at Marston Road and was voted both Supporters' Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season 2002/03 and 2003/04, becoming the first and only player to retain these awards. He was also named Manager's Player of the Season in 2003/04. Previously with Kidderminster Harriers, Bridgnorth Town and Paget Rangers, he made his 150th appearance for Stafford on the final day of the 03/04 season. Wayne has twice been a winner of the Staffordshire Senior Cup
