Robin was a fans favourite at his previous club, Wrexham, where he made over a 100 appearances since making his debut for them in January 1999. He was twice voted the Dragons fans player of the year. Highlights of his career at the Racecourse ground were scoring in Wrexham's FA Cup third round victory over Middlesborough in the 1999/00 season. A year later, Robin was a member of their Welsh Cup winning side. He has also played for Crewe and is known for his pace and aggression
