General Info

Dean began his career as a trainee at Birmingham City. He made his league debut at the end of the 1989/90 season and played five times for the Blues in total. He joined Tamworth before returning to the football league with Brentford. From West London he moved north to Doncaster Rovers in summer 1994, where he made 85 appearances as first choice goalkeeper. He then spent the second half of the 1997/98 season at Gateshead before commencing a three-year stint at Telford United. He had spells at Welsh League clubs T.N.S. and Aberystwyth Town prior to spending most of the 2004/05 season at Forest Green Rovers
