About A Boy
Growing up has nothing to do with age...
Will (Grant) is a 38-year old Londoner living a bachelor lifestyle on
the back of royalties earned from a Christmas song penned by his father
some years previously. A serial womaniser, Will comes up with the idea
of attending a single parents group as a new way to pick up women.
Inventing a two-year old son for himself, he meets lonely, bullied
schoolboy Marcus (Nicholas Hoult) and his depressed, music therapist
mother (Toni Collette). The intelligent Marcus soon learns Will's secret
and so blackmails him into letting him hang out at his place and watch
afternoon telly. However, what starts out as an uneasy quiz show
watching alliance turns into an unlikely friendship...

A Few Good Men
One man is dead. Two men are accused of his murder. The entire Marines
Corps is on trial. And 'A Few Good Men' are about to ignite the most
explosive episode in US military history.
Universally acclaimed, 'A Few Good Men' unites the big screen’s biggest
stars, as Hollywood heavyweights Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise and Demi
Moore lead an all star cast in director Rob Reiner’s powerful account of
corruption, cover-up and a relentless quest for justice within the
sacred corridors of the US Navy. With powerful performances from Kevin
Bacon and Kiefer Sutherland, 'A Few Good Men' makes its mark as the
major movie triumph of the decade. |

A.I. - Artificial Intelligence
'Artificial Intelligence' is the story of David (Haley Joel Osment), the
first mecha (a futuristic term for a mechanized human being) designed
with the ability to love. A couple whose son is in a coma "adopts" David
to help them recover from their loss. Naturally, things do not go as
planned, and David is forced to leave the mother (Frances O’Connor) he's
been "imprinted" to love, and make his way in the world. Traveling with
Teddy, a hi-tech stuffed bear, David escapes the Flesh Fair, where angry
humans destroy mechas to "purge artificiality," and unexpectedly
befriends Gigolo Joe (Jude Law), a robot designed to pleasure women. Joe
agrees to help David in his quest to become human.
Director Stanley Kubrick originally developed A.I., at one point asking
Spielberg to direct it. When Kubrick passed away, Spielberg took the
reins. Using a treatment and thousands of drawings commissioned by
Kubrick, Spielberg wrote his own screenplay (his first since 1979's
'Close Encounters Of The Third Kind').

A Knight's Tale
William Ledger, a servant to a noble lord, turns the world of jousting
upside down when he steps in to take the place of his dead master.
Surviving the bout he begins to enter more tournaments under the
pretence of being of noble blood, as common people are banned from
taking part. Along with his trusty band of friends he sets about trying
to win the hand of a local princess but also manages to cross the path
of the current jousting world champion, the evil Count Adhemar, who is
determined to destroy William in the competition. Heath Ledger plays
William and brings a great freshness and enthusiasm to the part, while
his side-kicks provide plenty of comedy in this excellent swashbuckling
adventure.

Analyze This
Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal team with Lisa Kudrow, Chazz Palminteri
and director/co-writer Harold Ramis to make you a comedy offer you can’t
refuse in this laugh-out-loud mob hit. De Niro, deftly spoofing the wise
guy roles that have been a staple of his estimable career, plays
powerful New York crime family racketeer Paul Vitti. Crystal, always one
joke ahead of sleeping with the fishes, is shrink Ben Sobel, who has
just days to resolve Vitti’s emotional crisis and turn him into a happy,
well-adjusted gangster. Yes, Sobel is a family psychiatrist. But surely
this isn’t the kind of family he had in mind!

Amadeus - Director's Cut
It's 1781 and Antonio Salieri (Abraham) is the competent court composer
to Emperor Joseph II. When Mozart (Oscar nominee Tom Hulce) arrives at
court, Salieri is horrified to discover that the godlike musical gifts
he desires for himself have been bestowed on a bawdy, impish jokester.
Mad with envy, he plots to destroy Mozart by any means. Perhaps, even
murder.
Now seen in a revitalised digital transfer and including more than 20
minutes worth of scenes not in the original release Amadeus The
Director's Cut achieves a rare feat by improving on the already
outstanding original.
