2. Boomerang! - A real easy game to get to grips with, no real skill needed just be a sod to your mates and watch the mayhem caused.

Boomerang!

Beer GamesBoomerang is best played with a small of group of friends and each participant must be very observant and alert at all times

Firstly allocate the 'boomerang hunter' and time keeper, with a full pint in front of all players the game can begin.

The boomerang hunter will throw his/her boomerang (this is to be mimed as throwing an actual boomerang may result in injury). Once the boomerang has been thrown the hunter must freeze and remain motionless and silent. As the other players notice the hunter in their motionless state they too must freeze and remain silent. The last person to notice has been 'hunted' and as a forfeit will then need to consume a measure of their drink, normally 'four fingers'.

To make sure that the game is fast paced the time keeper must ensure that the boomerang is thrown before 15 minutes has elapsed since the last throw. Failure to do this will result in the boomerang hunter to consume 'four fingers' of their drink.

The hunted now becomes the hunter and the hunter becomes the time keeper, then repeat the game as above.

Tips for the hunter.

  • Wait until one of the players goes to the toilet/bar, on their return they will have to undertake the forfeit
  • Distract an individual by commenting on the blonde at the bar, as they look away throw.
  • Try throwing the boomerang out of sight (i.e. under the table)
  • Remain motionless and silent even when you have not thrown the boomerang, When the player has drunk the 'four fingers' them come clean and inform them all that they have been duped and that you are still the hunter, you then get another go.

For a bit of extra fun try playing this at the same time as E G ! and Tom Thumb
