Ithell's first major solo exhibitions were in
London, sponsored by the Fine Art Society, and at Cheltenham Municipal Art Gallery - both in 1936. Before then she had exhibited at the Goupil Gallery, with the New English Art Club, at theDublin Academy, with the R.S.B.A. and at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. |

exhibitions including solo ones in London, Cambridge, Newlyn, Berlin, Hamburg, Exeter, Apeldoorn, and Bristol. |
