'Maybe Reality, One Day' on SubCity Radio: These guys sound like a very young Radiohead. Melancholic, melodic rock to slit your wrists to. It seems to hark back to a mid 90s, coming out of grunge era, when the youth of the nation were still coming to terms with the death of Kurt Cobain and were feeling adolescent pangs of disenfranchisement. I quite enjoyed listening to these guys. They provide a refreshing counterpoint to the jumpy haircut rock that has been dominating the music industry for far too long now. We all need to feel depressed by music for the right reasons once in a while. |
