Clive Hayball: Background & Personal Information
|
On this web site you can find about my personal background, my interests and my private hire,
consultancy and tutoring activities.
I was born in 1951 and brought up in Bristol, England. I attended Bristol Grammar School and studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at 'A' level.
I went on to study Mathematics at Cambridge University. I then spent 29 years working as a software engineer in the I.T. and telecomms industry.
In 2002 I left full-time employment and set up my own business activities, as follows:
2002-present: I.T. consultant, specialising in web site development and web page optimisation
(improving a page's ranking in search engines)
2003-2007: private-hire chauffeur, also specialising in offering guided tours of places of interest in the U.K.
2004-present: private Maths tutor, specialising in 1-to-1 tuition for GCSE and AS/A2 level.
In my spare time I am a member of St. James Church Thorley in Bishop's Stortford and I enjoy a
variety of other interests, including travel, listening to music (mainly "rock"), reading & collecting books.
