RIPON DIVERS.
Just a
quick reminder to say that tommorow night Wednesday 16th November is the AGM
at the Band Club and not a pool night. The AGM
will start at 8.30pm. I look
forward to seeing you all there. What’s happening now and soon. Ripon
Divers B.S.A.C 560 I am
looking to organising a weeks diving in the Scilly Isles
next year. Date depending on numbers and availability. I
intend to Charter a dive boat (12 divers) from St Martins for 6 days diving. (two
dives a day around the Islands turquoise seas with Seals and as many wrecks
as you like) Accommodation
will be self catering or B&B Pub and
guest houses to eat if you don't wish to BBQ etc. In
order to progress this I need to confirm 12 divers. Non divers
are welcome and accommodation can be organised .Lots of walks and deserted
sandy beaches I
expect the cost to be approx; Divers
£450 Non
divers £250. Please
note that this does not include transport to Penzance. As this
holiday can get booked up a year in advance I would welcome prompt replies to

16/17 June. 14/15 July. 11/12 August.(Bank Holliday 25/26 August St Abbs). 8/9 September. I know its early to think about 2012 but having had difficulty
getting sufficient numbers to make a June Farns trip viable and
oversubscribed for July it may be useful to consider these dates early. We should also consider a Farns trip in
September 24/25 possibly. Tides are not great, about midway between Neap and
Spring. Any Takers ?. As there is a Holiday for the Jubilee 2012 we could have an extra Day at St Abbs. August trip to St Abbs in 2012 could be good as they are Neap Tides. The other dates listed (neaps) could be earmarked as Farns Trips. Feedback and Suggestions would be welcomed. . |
