Free Children's Summer Games

Welcome to Chaz Rapley's Children's Summer Games Web Site where games can be downloaded free. This site is centred around my interest in developing simple games for young children, using the visual programming language Delphi. The games are developed from scratch so are original and aimed at exploiting the flexibility of computer-based games as well as being simple in concept and use. The games cannot be played on this site, they have to be downloaded to play on your own Windows PC. A link to my main games site for more free young children's games can be found at the bottom of this page.
The game is called 'SUMMER LINE-UP' and is a summer version of my 'Line-up' game. The object is to use the mouse button to line up identical summer objects which are then replaced by random different objects. The aim is to get as many line-ups as possible before running out of mouse button clicks. A screen-shot of the game in play is shown below:

In the screen-shot, the player is about to make a third line-up, a diagonal one with the blue beach balls. Line-ups can be made horizontally or vertically or diagonally across the two centre diagonals. There are two types of summer objects to choose from and two levels of play with target numbers of line-ups in each level. At regular intervals an immovable object appears to block lines and make them unavailable. Full instructions for play are given in the game which can be downloaded free by clicking the link below.
For new visitors to the site I have included my summer themed games from previous years which you may like to download free and try out:
2012 - BEACH CLEAR. Purple robots are used to clear the beach of rubbish. The aim is to clear the beach in the least number of moves of the robots. Using the keyboard arrow keys the robots move together so the sea walls have to be used to make one robot move relative to another. If a robot touches the sea it is lost into the sea. Click the link below to download the game:
2011 - SUMMER WORDS. The object of this game is to find as many 2, 3 and 4 letter words in common use as they can from a 6 letter summer related word selected at random. A REVEAL button is available to check how successful you have been with that word. Click the link below to download the game:
2010 - BEACH BALL. In this game the player uses the keyboard arrow keys to move (or 'kick') a beach ball around the beach to get it onto a piece of green grass in the least number of moves. There are a number of different levels with a target number of kicks to aim at for each level. Click the link below to download the game:
2009 - BUNNY HOPS. This game is a children's version of the traditional game of solitaire using bunnys instead of pegs. The aim is to remove bunnys by hopping over an adjacent bunny to make it disappear. The object is to remove the bunnys from the play area until only one is left. Click the link below to download the game:
2008 - ALL BLUE. The object in this game is to remove all the white clouds in the sky to make the sky all blue. Clicking a cloud or the sky with the left mouse button will change sky to cloud or cloud to sky each side but leave the clicked part unchanged. There are more detailed instructions on the method of play in the game. Click the link below to download the game:
2007 - SOUNDS LIKE SUMMER. This is a summer version of my Sounds Like game. The player hears a summer themed sound and sees a number of different pictures and has to click the picture that they think matches the sound. Click the link below to download the game:
2006 - TWIST AND JUMP. This is a moving tile type game which includes twisting the tiles as well as jumping to swop tiles. There are four colourful summer theme pictures to choose from and unravel. Click the link below to download the game:
2005 - KITES. This is a summer variation of the tangled fishermen's lines game. The tangled lines belong to kites flying off the beach. There are three levels of difficulty with longer tangled lines in level 2 and the addition of a gust of wind that re-tangles the lines if you are not quick enough! Click the link below to download the game:
2004 - WHAT'S DIFFERENT ON THE BEACH THIS SUMMER? A summer version of my What's Different game where the player sees a number of seemingly identical beach themed shapes and has to spot the small difference in one of them. There are four levels of difficulty with more identical looking shapes to cope with at the higher levels. Click the link below to download the game:
